10/08/2008 - Starting the Flaps

The flaps are not too difficult to put together, however I did need a lot of little shims which were a pain, but all in all both flaps were completely drilled, deburred, polished and made ready for priming.  A fairly easy day all told.

The tricky part of the day I guess was fabricating the strengthening brackets that go on the spars and bending the supplied rib plates to the necessary 6.2 degree angle.  Ok, ok just 6 degrees !!
